Bought this as a gift. I'm so glad I did. This is one of the most beautiful bibles I have ever seen. The highlighted book and chapter names are a nice touch and the colors, drawings, and artistic verses make this a stunning addition to anyone's bible collection. The colorful bits range from small verses in a small area to 2-page full color spreads of popular verses. There is also a large margin for adding notes or your own journaling. (There are other bible that have a similar layout but are all black and white so you can color them yourself - this is NOT that way - this bible has all the color added to it.) I want to buy one of these for everyone I know. I'm not even kidding. I can't wait until they make it in my favorite version - Holman Christian Standard Bible.Like many others, I rely heavily on Amazon customer reviews before purchasing anything anywhere (on Amazon or at brick-and-mortar stores). So being honest about my experience with a product is very important to me. If I am presented with a good product, my review will reflect that. *I purchased This bible with my own money, tho is an honest review*This is a very beautiful bible. If you are looking for a bible to self illustrate this is not it. But the illustrations are a wonderful bonus for this bible. Very durable. Pages are still thin, but a tad thicker than others I've seen. You are able to see the print from either side of the page.ive not written or highlighted in it het but I wrecken It's bleed through without proper caution to the type if writing utensil you use. It's a normal size and thickness. No complaints on my behalf. Note: the tabs do NOT come with this puchase. I ordered these separately from a different website. But they do coordinate beautifully.
I couldn't be happier! It's even prettier in person. It's a substantial bible without being huge. Can't get over all the artwork! I'm just in love with it! I'd definitely recommend.
I bought this not to use on a "black and white" kindle but to use on my tablet since it has colorful illustrations. I expected the illustrations to be integrated within the text just as they are in the print version- pages of scriptures, page of illustrations, pages of scriptures, page with illustration. Other eBooks are done much better. For example, I read the digital version of National Geographic on my tablet. Each issue is page by page the same as the print magazine. The Kindle Version of this book, especially when using it on the tablet, should be no different except page turn is done with a finger swipe. Instead none of the images are integrated within the digital text. They are all in the back of the eBook and you have to click to go to them which means you have to search to get back to where you were last reading. I feel like I wasted my money. Don't buy the digital version. I'm holding out hoping the author will update the digital version -- essentially a searchable PDF with chapter links and pictures in the same spot as they are in the originally text could be an easy fix!
Beautiful!!! When you take the cover off, its even more beautiful underneath(added pic). Perfect room for writing notes and was happy it was already in color for me. I did not want to color myself. The words are on the small side if you are used to a big words bible.
I love my new Bible! It's so pretty and excited to read it, as it's inviting and fun to hold in my hands. I bought the tabs on Etsy as others have done with the beautiful calligraphy printed for the books of the Bible. I love the sides of the pages that have room for private encouragements or scriptures from my prayer time. God does speak through his word and in our hearts to those who belong to him and to those he is calling to be his own. He loves us. Jesus is the answer for the world.
This Bible is beautiful! I love just flipping through the pages to look at the gorgeous illustrations. It has lots of lines for note-taking, too. The pages are very thin, but I use thin-tip Micron pens and they don't bleed. Some people don't like this Bible because it's not for coloring, but that's okay with me because I'm not really creative anyways. I just really enjoy the inspiration from the beautiful artwork.
Beautiful bible. Wanted a Bible with space for notes. This one has the space, however, the pages are slightly thin for certain types of pens. I added self-adhesive tabs to my pages. Also purchased on Amazon (about $8).
